I saw in our Technical department a new project which, in my opinion, could be interesting for many companies; it’s possible to integrate the magnetostrictive position transducer even on very small cylinders (starting from 32 mm diameter) where, until yesterday, it seemed impossible.

The new cylinder with transducer A3 series ISO 6020/2 is available with linear position measurement starting from 32 mm piston diameter and 22 mm piston rod diameter, obviously for all strokes.

The electrical outputs available are Analog, Start-Stop, SSI, Can Open, IO-Link as well as Atex.

This is an important innovation for all applications where very compact controlled linear motion is required.
